Hello to all.

Eighth wood species proposed for the Kennerton Rögnir, my favorite wood: Karelian birch (natural).

Kennerton Rognir “Karelian Birch”.
Special custom order. (not (yet) mine, alas ; perhaps, a day?)

Il like very much. :)

Wow, the finish on these cups is mighty impressive! Kennerton is fast establishing itself as one of the true maestros of wood.

Some people love their jewelry... we love our headphones.

95mm, just a bit smaller then lets say a beyerdynamic
Are they smaller? My Gjallarhorn's cups aren't that big, but they aren't too small either. Of course, I've never compared it against a Beyerdynamic before - I sold my T5p (2nd Gen) before I purchased the Kennerton. However, I think the cups on the Beyerdynamic flagships (T5 and T1) are actually smaller. I might be wrong, though. :)

The Karelian Birch makes it hard to resist, I'm inclined to buy it, just to look at it on the headphone Stand

GH and magni are 95mm, other Kennertons are 105mm

I had the same thought. I sent Ivan an inquiry if that exact model is available. I hope not!

I would like to know about this... Because, like you say, the T 1.3 cups (that's the T1 I've tried) are small for my ears and the pads pinched my ear lobes, which was the reason I returned those headphones (but, was a good decision, because after that I purchased the 9200s :relieved:).

If Kennerton Rögnir cups (I mean the holes of the pads) are smaller or the same as Beyer T1, I will have comfort problems with them :slight_frown: I don't have any problem with Beyer DT 1990 Pro, the pad holes are a bit bigger than T1.

Rognir should be 105mm

Hi Dave.

You've convinced me, my friend. :)

Your custom Rögnir being your best Kennerton headphones, and myself loving the natural Karelian birch (lacquered), it is now very difficult for me to resist to buy this Rögnir headphone.

So, like you, I take the plunge and I officially order today a personalized Kennerton Rögnir in Karelian birch.

21051204345223553817413937.jpg

This is a triply personalized (Custom) order because this special order will be made on this beatiful but special specie of wood (natural Karelian birch laquered) which is not in Kennerton's catalog, and also with a Rögnir on which will be inscribed, as for your very beautiful amaranth Rögnir headphone, Dave, the same personalized inscription "From Russia with Love", and finally with the custom cable of Kennerton dedicated to the Rögnir, but in a personalized length of 2m50 (instead of 2m).

Valentine, if you are following this Kennerton thread on Head-fi, please note this special order (triple personalized) of a natural Karelian birch Rögnir (lacquered) headphone, with this custom cable (2 m 50) and this custom inscription (the same as my friend Dave's @ithilienrp one), by telling me in private message (on head-fi) the details of the bank site (international visa card payment) to pay you this special order.
(Note: take your time Valentin to make me this custom Karelian birch Rögnir headphones, I'm not in a hurry; give me a quote (in private message on head-fi); finally, the only condition of this order of this Rögnir personalized , I don't go through the French importer, but directly through you: it's not negotiable for this special order).
