I'm not happy at all with that info. I wanted to spend that money elsewhere :)
Don't forget - my final judgements are subjective, so if you're not on the same wave - you could read it reverse to find right direction for you personally ))

Would this be the new Wodan w/ the aluminum drivers or the old ones w/ the steel drivers?....Kennerton said the newer aluminum ones sounds a bit brighter and has more resolution...maybe a bit more modest bass too.

Very happy to hear good things about the Vali Neoteric :)....there's barely any info on the model out there
I have not had them long, but I find the Wodan’s neutral rather than dark or bright (e.g. they are certainly not as bright / sharp as Arya’s in the planar space). The are clear to me across frequency spectrum but highs are definitely smoothed and the bass is resolving but not as punchy as other headphones.

Curious does anyone know if the new Vali Neoteric still use a modified version of Tymphany's peerless drivers or have they taken their drivers design in house like their planars?

Agreed...I find the new Wodan rather neutral myself.....certainly not dark nor are there much sub bass extension...just a clear pleasing sound overall but basshead or treblehead would prob be left wanting a bit "more"

The pairing of Gjallarhorn JM Edition with Woo WA6 (1st generation with Tungsram ECC81s and Mullard GZ34) is exquisite. The GH-JM clearly conveys the difference in rectifier tubes and driver tubes. Guidostrunk, this headphone is beckoning you…

Well a pleasant surprise has arrived over the weekend....introducing the mighty Thror Novel

This unit has a custom tuning and the sound signature is bit of a hybrid between the neutral Thror and the fun Thekk. Very pleasant musical sound :)

Sometimes, with Kennerton headphones, I just want to marvel at how good they look.. the sound can be left aside, at least for the time being.

They really are that pretty!

Amazing price, I thought it was going to be like 800$ or so.
If the Caspian sounds similar to the Vali, It has the potential to sell really well in the USA market. It sucks that it would be pricier to import it to Europe.

The Apos Caspian is a Kennerton-made headphone for a 3rd party? Nice. I wonder how they'll sound.

That Beyerdynamic headband certainly matches the beautiful wooden cups in stylistic form. :)

Interesting frequency response. I like the sub bass bump.
Hm I wonder if the pads has anything to do with it. Unlike the Vali pads which has perforations, from the pics these seems to be solid leather pads.
