Why base it on views/likes/etc? Instantly makes it less of a giveaway and more of a social-based competition. I very specifically keep to myself and don't rely on external influences for the sake of personal benefit. Obviously it's more flannel to get free advertising. Events like this only ever guarantee most will be out of the running before they even attempt to enter. Basically what most audio companies do, those who have major following & can more than afford their stuff, get more stuff. Those who can't get sod all. ⚰️👽🙉🙊🙈

OK.

Let me summarize my recent experience with KeepHiFi here - and we can all decide if it may be worth to share it on YouTube and elsewhere... for the... promotions...

1. I ordered KZ ZA12, KZ "exclusive" to KeepHiFi.

2. ZA12 came with a severe channel mismatch, epoxy glue inside not settled, etc. - my first KZ ever and my first IEM ever (out of 150+) not functioning properly out of the box.

3. I left my sad/disgruntled review on ZA12 on HeadFi.

4. KeepHiFi first "liked" my review (without looking into it), and then retracted their like - so they are aware of it. No efforts to contact me and to stand by their product (I also did not bother - in $46 lottery with ChiFi I badly lost this time...)

5. No action taken by KeepHiFi to remedy their failed IEM - speaking volumes for them and most of all sad for KZ in my book of jungles for allowing KeepHiFi to screw their name...

6. Out of nowhere, I was invited by a KeepHifi representative to review their KB02 (surely, I was not alone, and this IEM will be overglorified by those free reviews...) I gently refused.

7. Despite my previous refusal, I was again messaged with the invitation to review KB02 after my recent opinion piece published...- talk about total lack of communication/coherence, etc.

So my humble opinion on KeepHiFi based on these facts - unreliable, not supportive of their products, opting for random/erratic "type" promotions instead.
As far as my opinion as concerned, based again on the documented facts above, I would vote KeepHiFi out of the competition here and elsewhere.

First, we’d like to clarify that the KZ ZA12 you purchased is a product from KZ, and as their distributor, we handle the sales but are not directly responsible for their product quality or manufacturing. However, we do care about your experience and are here to help. If you’d like, you can contact us to arrange a return, and our acoustic team will either attempt to repair the unit or provide you with a replacement. As for why we didn't contact you immediately when we saw that review at the time, we don't want to make excuses, we just want to sincerely apologize and hope that you can give us a chance to re-establish a trusting relationship.

3. Regarding the "like" on your Head-Fi review, this was an honest mistake by one of our team members who initially thought they were using their personal account. Upon realizing it was the official KeepHiFi account, they retracted the like. This was not meant to dismiss your concerns, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We genuinely welcome all feedback, including critical reviews, as they help us improve.

4. At the time, the ZA12 discount didn't mean that we were going to sell bad quality products to some unlucky people, but it's true that we can't control the quality of this product. So we are retesting that shipment after seeing your feedback. We neglected your experience and didn't reach out to you for after sales. Sorry again.

5. As for the KB02 review invitations, we have multiple team members managing outreach, and it seems there was a lack of communication internally about your previous experience with the ZA12. We deeply regret this oversight. Please know that we never pressure reviewers to highlight only the positives—our goal is to gather honest and unbiased feedback to help us grow.

6. We’re truly sorry for the frustration this has caused you. While the ZA12 experience was disappointing, we hope you’ll consider trying products from our own brands, such as KBEAR, TRI, and CCZ, which we stand behind fully. If you’re open to it, we’d love to send you something from these lines to restore your confidence in us.

Might I then suggest not limiting select giveaways to select platforms only? I understand in today's world and society that social platforms are all the rage, but as someone who lives Off-grid and Off-map whilst keeping online presence limited and still very much into quality audio thanks to TBI related injuries, creating different accounts for the chance of being the odd one selected is not in the cards. The only one I can enter very specifically states it depends on highest view count. Others rely on purchases, or being active in a Livestream.

Don't fret, I'm fully aware my reality is unlike majority of others and ergo won't really be taken into account. However, the case stands as my most recent experience with Meze solidified my input doesn't matter, I don't have the backing nor social compliance to be worthy of their stuff unless I pay for it outright. Anyway, whilst I'll give the first one a go for the sake of sharing, that's where the story ends. Cheerio 🎧🖖🏽🏕️

We completely understand that not everyone is active on social media or able to participate in activities like giveaways, live streams or purchases, and we recognize that your situation is unique. Your passion for quality audio is what matters most to the brand, and we deeply value your input, regardless of your online presence or social following.
