What should I do? Keep my Essence STX (49720 Op Amps) or buy a Nuforce Udac?

I would keep the STX personally. It's a sound card, not just a DAC. You probably won't notice much difference if you got the uDAC and sold the STX. The STX will be fine, if you want to upgrade DAC< you should probably look at osmething in the $300+ range like Little Dot or Audio-GD. I personally have the Zero and want the Little Dot DAC_I and in the future, get the Grace.
