F1 looks interesting. Now sure how comfortable the angular shape would be in round ear canals though.

It’s actually quite comfortable (for me at least). Once in the ear, it feels no different than a piston/bullet style earphone (like KZ ED9, Moondrop Crescent, etc).

Hey, Im Igor... the one (not sure if the only one) who suggested you guys to join in! :-D

Subscribed... the KB06 and trii I4 (this one with sweet knowles BA) both looks awesome!

And congratulations for not joining the "more drivers is more better" bandwagon other brands are very into.

Im certainly getting one of those, but Im went way overbudget with IEM this month.

Right away I have one doubt:
The Trii brand will be for your higher end products, right? If not, whats the difference between both brands.

Welcome to the forum!

You guys could link the reviews available in the original post... unfortunately looks like we just have reviews for the F1 yet (but many of them).

https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/kb-ear-f1.23768/

KB 06 (still no reviews yet): https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/kb-ear-kb06.23834/
KB 10 (still no reviews yet): https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/kbear-kb10.23825/

(Im not sure how you guys can add the missing models in the showcase)

Surely getting 1 review of each model helps a lot, and you will have no shortage here of enthusiasts ready to review them if you send a sample.

I surely would love to do it myself but I guess I would not be the best choice (Slater just over there has a very good reputation around here)

The KB Ear F1 - Single Balanced Armature Driver

KBEarF1B.jpg

*Disclaimer - I was given the F1 as a review unit. (Photos taken by me)

I just had to review this earphone, because of its unique design and I was curious what just one Armature driver could do without the help of a dynamic counterpart.

My first concern was bass, I was afraid there would not be any. While these are bass light, they are not anemic. There is just enough lows to complete a full and comprehensive sound signature.

Mids of course are a highlight of the F1 earphone. Vocals are smooth and accurate.

Highs are pushed through with decent detail and decay. I do not find these to be overly sharp or fatiguing. If anything, the armature driver does a good job of keeping the overall playback effortless.

Soundstage is more of an intimate approach. While not wide, it does provide a sense of purpose.

Isolation is surprisingly good. Of course this will all depend on your ability to achieve a solid seal.

Speaking of seal, I will be fully transparent that I could not get any of the included silicon tips to work. Though this is no fault to the F1, silicon just does not work for me no matter what earphone I use. I will say, I do think every pair of earphones should come with at least one set of foam tips. I just ended up using another pair I had laying around to use with the KB Earphone.

Accessories are standard for this price point, you get a fair amount of eartips and that is about it.

The build quality is quite nice. The cable is beautiful and shows little to no microphonics. I also love the fact that it is a MMCX connection, so easy to swap out or trade with other earphones. The housings that enclose the armature driver are small and well made, with a interesting design. Overall such a cool little light weight earbud.

If you contact the seller directly, they will give you a discount price of $26 for Head-Fi members: www.aliexpress.com/item/33013184490.html

I am finishing my KB06 review now and have already reviewed the Opal, F1, and KB10 so I think that will cover all the available KBear products until the next release arrives.

I'll post links in thread once I finish the 06.

Why is everyone writing in bold here lmao?

Looks like one of those fake russian forums threads where "people" try to convince the reader to download a trojan.

I guess the 1st comment left a bold tag open.
