KBEAR Believe seems to be discontinued. Cannot be found from Aliexpress. I regret that I didn't buy when the price dropped to $145 at KBEAR store at Ali. I will wait for the renewal of Believe if KBEAR plans to do so.
I noticed that they are out of stock but not necessarily discontinued.

Did you find anything saying that they are discontinued?

@WendyLi, can you tell us if they are out of stock temporarily or permanently?

Believe is still my favorite single DD IEM. Though I haven’t heard the FD5 or Zen yet.

Yeah. The seller told me that they already stopped producing Believe. Expecting next generation Be driver from KBear

Yes. They are still available from Amazon.com too but there is a psychological barrier between 179usd and 145usd 😆. I already have some sub 200 dollor IEMs so I hope upgrades to at least 300ish ones or even straight to around 1k endgame IEMs if I can manage to resist the temptations from hyped budget IEMs

I think the KS1 is slowly winning me over. Today I murdered my BL03 and removed the NiceHCK 16 core cable from it for the KS1. It doesn't quite have the timbre but the atmospheric way it reproduces reverb is very moreish. The change of cable gives it a bit more note weight, and though still a touch V shaped, vocals are brought to the fore a little. My love affair with the 03 may be over.

Yes. 4.4mm female to 2.5mm male.

The 2.5mm balanced to 3.5mm stereo shouldn't exist......?

I presume you mean 4.4mm female to 2.5mm male. If the reverse then I think you are catered for, judging by the photographs.
Yes based on the photos, it looks like this list:
#2.5mm--3.5mm
#3.5mm-2.5mm
#4.4mm-2.5mm
#4.4mm-3.5mm
Is likely #Plug--Socket. The 3.5mm plug with a 2.5mm socket and the 4.4mm plug with the 2.5mm socket both make sense (one is making a balanced cable single ended, the other is converting one balanced plug to another type of balanced plug), but what I find confusing is the 2.5mm plug with the 3.5mm socket and the 4.4mm plug with the 3.5mm socket, because you can't convert a singled ended cable to balanced (you can't untie ground wires that are already tied together), which implies that the 3.5mm socket in the adapter is a TRRS socket for a balanced 3.5mm cable, which is pretty uncommon. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only time that has been used is if you buy the Hifiman Balanced Amplifier Card and install it in one of their DAPs (HM901s/901/650/802).

Hi all,

Got a pair of KB04's recantly.

Have a specific point of concern re the Driver Matching test here : https://www.audiocheck.net/soundtests_headphones.php

On playing this back, I notice a panning to the right, right at the very end of the playback of this test(during the last second or so) so presumably at or near the 10k mark.

I have been advised that this matches with what is shown in this chart https://primeaudio.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/KBEAR-KB04-frequency-response.png

And therefore is expected behaviour it seems for this IEM ?
