Hopefully with it leaking so early ( 9/11 is the official release date ), they'll throw on some bonus tracks ( Good Night - UK/AUS bonus track ) for the official date.

I'll be in line on Tuesday.

Very good album... I don't listen to Rap/Hip Hop much, but I find this album to be much more accessible to rap fans and non-fans alike by effortlessly combining conventional melody with hip-hop beats and rap. Stronger is just amazing.

Have you heard any singles off it yet?

I have Finding Forever and if Kanye's work on that is anything to go by...well I'm salivating like one of Pavlov's dogs!

I believe "stronger" is the first single off the album.

I don't know about you guys but while I enjoy Kanye's work immensely, it just lacks that something, that missing ingredient that will put it in company with five mic alumni such as Nas, Jay and Dre.

That being said, he's awfully close though!

I think you're correct with his two previous albums but this one will take him to that level in my opinion. It's right up there with Blueprint, Black Album, Illmatic, It Was Written, The Chronic .... imo of course

two weeks is actually a pretty slow leak. stars' new album leaked like, 4 months early.

Thats because Stars intentionally leaked their own album.

"I'm like a fly Malcolm X,
Buy any jeans necessary."
-Kanye West

Thats a quote from the new album. Anybody who says stuff like that does deserve my money, or anyone else's. He is nothing but a petulant child in expensive clothes.

It's precisely this quality that makes me love his music. Kanye pours emotion into his work and the level of sincerity just makes me appreciate it that much more.

Kanye's is a new school of rap music. He, along with artists like Common, Talib Kweli and The Roots are showing the world that rap music is not just about guns, drugs and ho's.

I don't like Kanye's attitude (you're Jesus...really?) or his rapping, but he's pretty much the best hope of pulling mainstream hip hop from the pits, as he has done a great deal of work in helping Common, Talib Kweli, etc. I'm not gonna pick up his new album, but I hope it'll throw 50 Cent out of business.

I don't typically like rap, I liked Late Registration a lot though, he doesn't make rap about his guns and hos or whatever (he does sing one on graduation, and I think that it sucks) so I like it a lot more than typical rap. On the new album I like champion a lot, I'm not quite sure why, I also like I wonder and homecoming. Overall though I don't like it as much as Late Registration, I liked every song on that album.

The first time i listened to the album I was really dissapointed.
The second time around the album was put in a little better light, but still mediocre.
The third time, I realize I simply cant believe someone as talented as Kanye can put out something so mediocre and no matter how many times i listen to it its all i can come up with. Hopefully i'm wrong though and the album is somehow so amazing I cant comprehend it until a few spins, though it doesn't appear that way.

maybe my expectations were too high, but Stronger is by far the strongest and best song from the album.
