As I understand your ratings of SQ here are in absolute terms, not considering the price. Because imho price/SQ ratio for RR1 is 10 out of 10!
I totally agree with you. For the price, the RR1 is definitely 10/10. Ignoring price - it would be 9/10 which is unbelievable IMHO :)

@Zachik

What amplifer you use?

My ranking for Estats is

Omega
007Mk1
HE90
JADE
Hifiman JR
009
007MK2
L700
Esp950
JADE 2

I wonder where this RR1 Conquest can be placed?
Amp: I have mentioned in my impressions that I used Stax T1 amp.
IMHO, and for MY personal taste, ignoring the price - the RR1 is below 007MK1 but above Jade 2 and above ESP950. I have not auditioned Jade (original) nor HE90.
Compared to the 009 - I feel that technically 009 is better, but musicality and enjoyment - the RR1 is better. Again, for MY personal taste :)

Some technical photos of our in-house Stator. As mentioned many times before, the entire RR1 is Made in-house. We are constantly spending more money on R&D to improve our QC and the final product irrespective of the cost. There's a lot of talk about why 500USD, the answer is simple, there's no money to be made in this industry. I'd rather sell it for a loss than make any money as even if I did make, it won't be enough for the Company to survive.

The RR1 started as a personal life goal of mine, to build my own. It became more than that, the RR1 has created over 5 jobs and a new division within Kaldas Research. We still treat it as a passive income, anything we make is a bonus, it is not a priority.

Anyway, to some Driver porn.

Any thoughts on using a Woo Ges with the RR1? I have had a couple of Woo amps and have really liked them. My current favorite amp is my WA5le.

@MrTechAgent Could you please describe the sonic differences between RR1 with Stax SRM-252s and 353X? I am wondering wheter its worth those $1000 or not ;p
Of course I know your opinion will be mostly subjective, like everyone of us here :D Anyway I am very curious. Btw. does 353X have power plug with 3 pins (its grounded?).

Since the 353X has more power and if we consider the Fletcher-Munson effect. It is definitely going to sound better. How much of it is measurable and actual is probably negligible.

Yes, the 353X can be grounded.

Will need to storm Area 51 to understand how to transmit 580V Bias wirelessly first.
Better yet do some research on Nichola Tesla he was trying to transmit electricity through the air!

Thought I'd share this here, another Bespoke RR1 off to Germany. IMO, not to be Stereotypical but this is as German as it gets. Pure, understated class. Our Technician surely enjoyed assembling this one.

Sorry for being so "German" :dt880smile:
Understandment is the message
