@MrTechAgent

"THIS, is the Kaldas Research RR 1 "Conquest". It employs an Electrostatic Transmission system, making it India's first High-End Headphone in History.
The Conquest is a fully in-house developed Electrostatic Headphone, which is manufactured 100% in India.
To show how proud we are of the Conquest, the Conquest will be individually serialised and will be come with Measurement Certificates including Metrics such as Frequency Response, %THD, 30/300Hz Square Wave and Impulse Response. On top of that, all those Measurements will be available for cross-reference on our website to verify our QC and Transducer matching potential. This is unheard of in the Headphone industry and isn't even done by a certain Manufacturer making $50,000 Electrostatic boutique headphones.
All measurements will be done on our State of the Art G.R.A.S. and Audio Precision instruments.
The RR 1 Conquest is a precision instrument, the Electrostatic Transducer inside it is in our opinion and objective proof is among the very best ever Manufactured by man.

The Conquest will become the first production Electrostatic Headphone to utilise over 50% 3D Printed components for Manufacturing reasons, our shells are to complex to make on CNC or Injection Moulding systems.
It is also the first Electrostatic Headphone to employ a fully removable/swappable cable.
The entire Headband assembly of the RR 1 is CNC Aluminium with the highest grade Spring Steel which we harden in-house.
The heart of the Conquest is the Driver. We are extremely proud to make our own Driver. It is 100% in-house unlike other Manufacturers who simply can't Manufacture their own.
We will release our remarkable %THD results next week.
We have dedicated over two years of R&D into the Conquest. As it sits. It is the first Made In India Headphone of the highest Acoustic caliber ever Manufactured by man."

Edit: The two published measurements below are done by two different entities but on the same(?) measuring rig - However because it was measured on the same rig, user Oratory1990 on Reddit was able to duplicate the response in relation to the Harman target response.

Official measurements: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachme...28929665035/Kaldas_Research_RR_1_Conquest.pdf

Other measurements: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bme9g5lc2w47f9l/Kaldas Research Conquest.pdf?dl=0

Keep in mind, the second set of measurements linked above are in relation to the Harman target.

You can directly compare the measurements above with other headphones here (scroll down for list of headphones): https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/9o2f5n/psa_oratory1990s_list_of_eq_presets/

The published measurements are a little confusing. Seems like it's expected that the user must use a custom EQ profile with their specific headphone, unless I'm misunderstanding it.

The published measurements are a little confusing. Seems like it's expected that the user must use a custom EQ profile with their specific headphone, unless I'm misunderstanding it.

The second set of measurements showing the EQ is just showing how it would look like if one were to EQ it to the Harman target, which would give out the "Preference rating" at the bottom. The Preference rating is not a personal rating but IIRC more of an "estimate" based off of a group study. Something among those lines.

Since the measurements are made on the same(?) G.R.A.S. system, user Oratory1990 was able to duplicate the points or the frequency response and compare it to the Harman target. Basically, the two published measurements are done by two different people but on the same measuring rig - However because it was measured on the same rig, Oratory1990 was able to duplicate the response in relation to the Harman target response.

Hmmm... this is a little disheartening I must say.
I'll wait for more information (or an audition ... maybe one day) until i pass judgement.
