K750i + Koss KSC-55

I have a Sony Ericsson K750i and i want to use it as mp3 speler, but I wanted to use my Sennheiser PMX60, but unfortunally the amplifier from the K750i can’t handle a 24ohm headset, sow I needed a new ‘good’ streetwear headset.

I found after a quick search the Koss KRS-55 headset, it is a 60ohm headset / 101 SPL.

I think this headset is gonna sound fine on my phone, but Iam afraid that it can’t got loud, because de K750i hasn’t a strong amplifier.

Now is offcourse my question, what do you think of this? Maybe someone have an experience with this?

Zal wel niet zo hard gaan als de PMX60 maar ik kan je wel vertellen dat het veeeel beter zal klinken. Ik denk wel dat de koss drivers hard genoeg gaan. Ik heb de Ksc75 met dezelfde drivers erin en geen problemen met het volume met welke speler dan ook.

Quick English reply. Yes the Ksc55s will be fine volume wise, maybe a bit less but not much and they'll sound lots better.

Ik ben er toch bang voor dat hij vrij zachtjes gaat, simpelweg omdat het maar een telefoon is.

Ik lees veel negatieviteit over het comfort van de ksc55 headset, klopt dit?

En, weet jij misschien nog een shop in NL die de ksc35 verkopen

De KSc35 niet. De ksc75 wordt hier verkocht. Ze hebben daar vrij goeie service dus missschien als je van te voren vraagt of je het terug mag sturen kan je ze misschien even uitproberen.

Ik heb geen idee hoe goed of slecht de ksc55 zit. Schijnt aan de grootte van je hoofd te liggen. De 75 kan je wat verbuigen naar de vorm van je oren. De 35 is uit productie. Je kan hem nog van de koss site kopen, maar daar doen ze heel moeilijk over je creditcard. Ik kreeg het niet voor elkaar om daarvan te bestellen.

Hoe ik wist dat jij Nederlands was.

Het is trouwens niet toegestaan hier om in een andere taal te praten tenzij de ander geen of heel slechts engels kan dus ik ga even vertalen.

Strider wondered whether the volume wouldn't be too low on a cellphone with the koss phones. And if I knew a place where he can get the ksc35s. I told him about a place overhere where he can buy the ksc75s. And advised him to ask about their return policy so he could try them with his phone.

He also asked about the comfort of the ksc55. Because he's read negative things about it. I told him I didn't know. Depends on the shape of your head.

I have one question left, if you must choose between the KSC55 or KSC75, wich one will you choose? And why?

I'd probably go for the 75s. Because you can adjust the fit. And with the fit you can also change the sound a bit. Closer to your ears, a tighter fit, will give you more bass. A looser fit more treble.
