Right now I'm using my k701's with my little dot mk II. Does this sound like a good pair ? Should I find a better amp to compliment these ? I'm pretty impressed with the setup as it is, but I'd like some input.

My Earmax tube didn't have very good synergy with the 701... in fact it wasn't able to drive it well enough. But it handled the HD-650 at 300ohms perfect. STRANGE, isn't it?
