I'm starting to enjoy the sound of these a bit more... not crazy about them yet, but they've got some high points in certain areas, the main one being that cymbals are TIGHT! I'm only at about maybe 150 hours, so apparently I've got two more years of burn in left

.

There is one thing that's hurting them, however. They're just flat out uncomfortable as hell. If I really stretch them out all the way, they'll stay on my ears for maybe a minute before they pull themselves halfway off. The combo of the stiff headband and those elastic thingies prevents them from fitting on my long head.

Any ideas? It's so hard to enjoy cans when they aren't comfortable, so maybe this is part of what I'm "missing" on these things.

BTW, my 7 year old loves them... they fit perfectly on her.

I found the clamp pressure just enough to be noticable, but they (and the k601's) only move if I shake my head enough to make me dizzy.

I do have a shaved head, though. Do you have to pull them "down" onto your head for the cups to cover your ears?

Yep, that's a pretty good way of describing it. If I sit perfectly still, they'll stay there, but how fun is that?

Has anyone cut the elastic cords on them? That seems like the only option other than a longer headband... do they make these?

maybe try to stretch the elastic if the headband fits fully extended?

(or get a haircut

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that, it could work.

BTW, my hair is pretty short--maybe one inch.

That's weird - I have a pretty large head myself and it fit ok (though I guess I did have to tug it down over my ears).

good luck.
