Couple of months ago I bought the AKG K26p, I kind of liked them though the sound was too rich of bass for my taste and they were sqeezing my ears too much, but they were quite low price and very portable...
last week, while I was wearing them they litteraly divided in 2!
it brokes where signed in this pic:

I contacted the support (in italy) and they say it is not covered becouse it's bad usage and not a defect....
now, I think there is not much that can be broken in headphones like that, and anyway that part is very small and thin, easy to brake in other words.. a defect of design (I'm graduated in industrial design by the way).

Are there other cases like mine or Im the only idiot that managed to brake this akg headphones

? I've seen many models share the same structure... I'll never buy them again, though I liked the k81 dj (is it the name?).
any suggestion for new headphones in the same target (price, use)?

Take them down to the seller, where you bought them. You have like 24 month of warranty, also for that kind of issues. The retailer must send them back for repair. Don't take less than that!!!
If they not willing to do so, call your consumer organization and ask them what to do. I know it is a lot of nasty things for such small and not that expensive phone, but PRINCIPLE KILL THEM ALL!!!

Good luck!

Well if you believe the cans to be broken due to a poor design (as I'm sure you can evaluate given your background) you need to just get this through to them. Of course the first response will be "due to negligence/abuse", it cuts down on their overhead and saves a warranty claim.

The fact is they diagnosed your cans as "abused" over the phone/email.

That doesn't sound like a very through evaluation to me. I would take them down to wherever you bought them (if locally) or to an authorized AKG retailer that handles warranty work. Explain the situation, that these were not abused and you believe there to be a design flaw.

Bring along your industrial design certificate for extra oomph!
