Are there any vendors with K1000 aftermarket cables in stock? Stefan Art's website states a waiting period of 24 weeks!

Headphile has them in stock and in all kinds of terminations (balanced, 1/4, mini, speaker ends). The standard configuration uses BlackSilver, which I've had very good experiences with as a HD 650 replacement cable (and now being used in JaZZ's main system in spite of the Zu and Silver Dragon he owns). The BlackSilver can be upgraded to BlackMax (probably a bit smoother) for an extra $50, which is what I ordered.
24 WEEKS?!!?!?!
It takes a fraction of that time for me to order the parts, sit on my ass, start soldering, sit on my ass some more, and then finish them.
