It's no secret that JVC has been on a roll lately in the portable segment. While its high-end HA-FX700 and FX500 (aka FX1000) wood cone earphones have been a hit, its more budget-oriented HA-FXT90 has also struck a chord with consumers.
 
The HA-FXC71/51 have also been good budget options for the sub-$100 category, but have been largely unheralded on here, perhaps due to lack of exposure. The few that have heard the FXC series have thought that they were great performers in the micro driver category. I personally believed the FXC71, while much smaller in size, easily rivaled the sound of the much-ballyhooed Yamaha EPH-100, with which it shares a similar micro-driver configuration.
 
The current FXC series seemed to borrow a lot of technology from its bigger brother, the FXT90. Announced at the Tokyo Headphone Festival in 2012, the next generation FXD goes even further with that shared technology platform of carbon nanotube drivers and brass retention rings, and improves upon both build quality and ergonomics as well.
 
Many members have been enthusiastic and satisfied with this new lineup from JVC.

That is the best presentation of an explosion graph I've ever seen in my life.
 
 
Yes it's no secret that JVC is at the cutting edge in IEM's now, from speaker cones made out of wood soaked in Sake, to Carbon Nanotube in these latest models.

Sony used to be very pioneering in IEM and earphone technology.  Now JVC seems to be solar eclipsing them, my listening impressions mirror Tom's on the Sony XBA series and the JVC FXC51/71 in the $100 sub cat.
 
 
Finally a new IEM to be excited about that just looks like stellar sonic セックス

Methinks you left off the column headings on that table. All I can interpret from that is carbon nanotubes are OVER 9000!!!!!

How expensive is the service for a pair of earphones?

The tenso service is complicated! I wanted to order as well but can't figure out if the address is correct, when pasting from the tenso service website.
I would hate to spend the money any never receive the headphones because I didn't do something right.

The forwarding service is around 2400 yen, which is about 30$ for the s&h. Not a bad deal, total should be around 127.00$ compared to the site mentioned above thats asking 135.00. Plus 20 s&h.

Any help and I could join you on the voyage to audio bliss!

X2, wonder what the heading is, interesting stuff. Hope that bass controlling ring actually does it's job, JVC actually does a good job at HRTF (headphone related transfers) in the treble but they tend to degrade their IEMs with midbass weight due to looser air movement. Based on the FX500, 700 and FXT90.

This took me a while as well! But this yahoo post cleared up it up for me quickly:

Basically, if your Tenso address is similar to mine, then the first line with the number is the postcode. Then comes the next line, with the first three characters being the prefecture - or in my case, 東京都 (Tokyo-to) which is apparently some other designation. Then the next three characters are tell you the City, in my case being 足立区 (Adachi). Then in the street address I just copy pasted the rest of the address, including the Adachi City line again (not sure if that is correct but honestly I'm sure the postal service will figure it out.)
 
If you have an issue, you can actually just remove all the special information that Tenso gives (ie the Tenso number etc) and then put that address into google maps, and it will format the address and tell you the prefecture / city :)
