OMG, is that a FX700? I sure hope for my wallet that they are not vastly better than the FX500.

I am not at all happy with the Easter bunny myself. Did not bring my D2000 yet.

Anyway, I'm really interested to know how the vocals sound with the FX700. My main issue with the FX500 was that no matter which tips I used, or what EQ I applied, I could never get enough substance from the vocals. They always sounded vaguely thin and recessed to me. Looking really forward to your impressions

Seems he's being a wee bit coy, because methinks they're the blurry ones in the background with the bigger housing.....FX500's are in the foreground.

You're right, I thought it was a nice setting, the successor in the background. But I didn't anticipate folks taking the FX500 for the FX700, lol.

I got them from PriceJapan for about €280 including shipping and customs (BTW roughly the same that the Coppers cost here in Europe).

As for first impressions, I'll leave them playing/burning overnight, looking forward to a proper listening session tomorrow.
