Well I called both JVC and Etronics. Both said to call the other. I called JVCs customer service line and got passed around a second time. The third time I had had enough, and they listened whether they wanted to or not. To sum up, a customer service rep will call me . I AM REQUESTING NEW PADS FOR MINE. I made JVC aware many people bought these and will be looking for an answer. These phones have a one year manufacturers warranty that should force them to honor repair or replacement. I am lucky; mine are perfect except for the pads. I will post a response once I have an answer. Man I feel bad about this.
