I tried getting a solid answer a couple times in the has thread with no luck so maybe I can get one here. For those who have both which do you like better and why?

It's been a while since I returned my M50, but from what I remember about it I definitely prefer the S500 over the M50.
The M50 might work better for you if you dislike bass.

Yes, and the overall sound signature is better for me and my music taste.
