I and not an expert on canal phones, but have yet to find one I like.
I tried the fx300r jvc's.
Bass: Perfect
Build quality and ergonomics: Perfect
Highs: Hard to tell. But seem ok
Mids: An atrocity. Way to forward. I just can't listen on any of my
devices, including those with equalizers.
Short but to the point. They were $68. Not worth any price.
At this point I am loath to try anything pricier if this one is any indication of what is out there.
