Just saw Paul Simon in concert

Just got back from hearing Paul Simon in the Santa Barbara Bowl. He put on a nice concert including some old Simon & Garfunkel song. The encores never seemed to end.

Every time I attend a live concert I'm reminded how far away modern hifi equipment is from duplicating a live performance. The attack and dynamic speed just isn't there. Fortunately, I also seem to be able to forget between concerts and enjoy my equipment nonetheless.

Although I must agree with you here, I have seen more than my fair share of poorly mixed live shows . . . . one's where I almost rather have been home listening on my rig. Pity when that occurs.
