Who makes the lightest weight xlr out there?
I was bored last night and decided to recable my D2000. The design makes it VERY easy to recable because there is a small circuit board with pads to solder to and no chance to mess up the voice coil wires.
I recabled with belden 1804a and terminated temporarily to mini trs, but I would like to terminate balanced. I have some neutrik 3pin xlr, but they are really heavy; is there a light weight 3pin xlr out there, or should I terminate with a single 4pin xlr? I do not yet have a balanced amp, so I can build that to match my headphones.
Also, what would be a good sleeving material to use and who supplies it?
Thanks
