Well i am an extremely lucky man. I was fortunate enough to get the last go-vibe, Norms personal one.

Let me just say i am now a believer. I have always used the headphone out of my NAD which i always thought was be fairly good. I was always a skeptic of getting a dedicated headphone amp. However this puppy is amazing. It is also tiny and light which is good if i ever want it for portable use.

I'm a happy man..

Congrats. I upgraded from a Go-Vibe to a home Pimeta and noticed some improvements, but less than I thought there would be (mostly just a fuller sound with better bass). If you got one with AD8397 then it may be the last portable amp you ever need. Otherwise, a buffered amp might be in your future, particularly if you use low impedance headphones.

I have two theres the OPA2227 and dual AD825. I'm hopeing to track down some more opamps somehow.

What do you reccomend for high impedance headphones (k501, HD650)?

yup, go for the 8620, i have one in my v4 and it is truly amazing, such fantastic clear sound from such a plain looking little black box. IMO from going from nano headphone out to 280's and then adding the v4 in the chain, there is a big increase in headstage along with SQ across the entire frequency range.

I picked up a used Go-Vibe V3 to replace a CMoy which I gifted to a friend.
I went with the AD8620 after trying several others (AD823, OPA637, OPA2227). With my HD600 and K240 it works very well.
I also have a Meta42 and find I generally prefer the unbuffered CMoy/Go-Vibe design with the high impedence cans.

I just remembered my go-vibe has a DIP socket for opamp rolling. Will the AD8620 mounted work or will i need to find one where it comes by itself?
