Wow. Great game. That last boss fight was intense, though. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't played it (or played up to that point yet), but holy crap! Now I need to wait for some new Wii games. Or I could always snag Super Metroid for the Virtual Console...

Fun wasn't it? the second last boss was actually more annoying for me. It was hard to target. Did you fully complete the game as in you got every pickups? I actually only completed 80+% of the game

I didn't get all the pickups, but I wasn't really trying either. The only thing I really tried for was all the energy tanks. I got all but one. I could've gotten the last one, but I didn't feel like going back for it.

By second-to-last boss are you referring to Dark Samus or the first form of the Aurora Unit? Personally, I thought Dark Samus was the easiest bass in the entire game (followed closely by Omega Ridley). That golem in the first seed, though, was a massive PITA.

I was referring to the girl (she's one of the main bosses, I didn't consider omega ridley to be one since it wasn't one of the three hunters). I was trying to be as vague as possible so that people don't start screaming spoiler.

I hate it because she was jumping around, I ended up rushing towards her and blast the crap out of her.

regarding the final boss, I was so close to losing because during the last form, I wasnt getting any health at all, and my bar was "virtually full". A single hit from the laser would have killed me, or if that fellow didn't turn his back on me in time, I'd have lost. I was tying to destroy the last "ball" at the back if you are wondering what I'm talking about lol.

oh btw, I believe I've put about 30k clicks on the "A" button on my remote because of this game haha

I was in the same situation against the Aurora Head. My yellow bar was about 1 hit away from being full and I was just blasting the crap out of the boss in the hopes that I killed it before it killed me. I lucked out. As for the female hunter (Gandrayda, or something), she was interesting. It wasn't really difficult as much as it was frustrating because of her jumping around so damn much. I was flailing my remote around like an idiot trying to keep up with her.

The A button on my remote has gotten a lot of action as well. I'm surprised it hasn't worn out from all the clicking I did, as most of my strategy for this game consisted of blasting the crap out of anything that happened to be in my way.

I think besides the last boss, I always had more than enough HP to deal with them.

How did you like exploring Valhalla? lol, that ship reminds me of Event Horizon...and there were many parts where it really caught me by surprise..but I assure you I didn't scream like a girl. I really didn't like going to that ship, the pirates there were extremely tough and I'd to get into hypermode to kill them all the time. I really hate those jelly fish thingy...

I didn't think the Valhalla was too bad. I didn't fully explore it though. I had just enough energy cells to get the pirate code and that was it. I was more concerned with beating the game than exploring, though.
