I just got interested in good sound and I have a few questions.

1. I just bought a pair of Grado SR-80i's what else do I need?
2. Could I use my computer to listen to music? I have a netbook. An Acer Aspire One 751h. Will that make good sound?
3. If I use a jailbroken app to play FLAC how well will it sound?
4. Do I need an amp? If I do can you suggest one that is relatively cheap?
Sorry about being such a noob.

If you like the sound as it is, you don't need anything. Just relax and listen to your new phones. However, if you want to improve the already nice sounds you hear, then you can look into source, and amp.

x2. The SR80s are some of the most forgiving cans ever. I never plug mine into anything more complicated/hi-fi than an iPod.

I agree.
Enjoy your headphones cos you have to burn it.
As hours and hours of listening it, you will changes in sound quality that will make you happy like me, with my loved Grado SR60.

I have used my headphone for more than a year and it made me happy.
I plan to buy a headphone amp after I bought a headphone that truly needs it.
But I have to buy first either Sennheiser HD 650/600 or AKG K701-these headphones really need headphone amps.

However, our Grado SR60/80 don't benefit too much from a headphone as many headfiers said.

So buddy, just plug your headphone to any source you like cos it will pour out high quality of sound as you need, like my setup below.

If you want an upgrade way down the line, I can't recommend this guy enough:

Head-Direct.com | YUIN

For $30 more than Headroom's Total Bithead (not a serious upgrade over laptop sound, in my opinion), it's literally in another class. That little dude almost competes with my $500 EMU 0404/EF1 combo.
