I'm pretty stoked. I've been teetering with buying these for awhile. I have a few different sets of phones now -- Alessandro MS2is. I've had them for years. Love 'em! Grado SR80s -- great for banging around to and fro work. They get the job done. And I have SE530s and Triple.Fis -- mostly used for my subway commute. Can't decide which ones I like better. They're different yet equally as good.
I'm going to be driving the HD650s with my Penguin Caffeine Ultra for now being that I just burnt a hole in my pocket on these puppies. Can't wait to update the amp to synergize with the 650s.

Yeah, I've been reading about the Darkvoice amps lately. They look nice and at around $400 new I'm sure I can pick one up on the FS forums for maybe a $100 less.
The next step is trying to convince the wife that spending $400 on an amp is justified. I'm either going to have to bite the bullet and not tell her about it and deal later or wait 6 months to a year and see what the financial climate is then. She doesn't even know about the HD650s yet -- oops.
