Hey everyone, I just purchased AT's A900LTD and I am going crazy in anticipation of how they are going to be. I was wondering if anyone here has had some experiance with them and is willing to help ease the pain of the waiting period and can help fill me in on what to expect.

I'm really hoping I won't regert the purchase, seeing as how this will be my first pair into the headphile world. Thanks for listening, I'm hoping I'll hear good things, from you, and more importantly the 900's

I finally feel like a member now, thanks guys!

did you find a new pair or something?

Basically they're very balanced in the mids and highs but the bass is sort of a separate monster, independent of the rest of the signature.

I have them and they're great, but I'm currently looking into finding bluetak for the fitz mods, which you can find via a simple search. Very good feedback on the sound change. Listen to them first and see if you like them, but also consider the mods if you're "looking for something new"

bass is a separate monster?
does it sound detatched and unnatural from the rest of the soundscape?

How is the bass quanity, impact, and quality?

thanks

edit: yes I found a new pair being sold at Audio Cubes through the headphonereviews link

You should have not problems with Audio Cubes. They also just opened a shop in NYC. Many people around here have ordered from them.

it doesnt seem to say anthing on the page at all about being out of stock. It even says ships in 1-3 buisness days. I think the only thing that signifies that they may be out is it doesn't come up by clicking on links starting at their homepage.

I don't know anything about webpage design and up keep, but would they possibly leave a page up of an out of stock item that still allows you to add to your shopping cart and go through the entire check out process without a hitch?

I really hope I can get these cans.

I don't know how did you dig this page but A900LTD are out of production and stock for a long time already. Bluetin had A950LTD in stock recently but definitely not 900LTD. Sorry, mate.

Either Audiocubes made a mistake, or this guy is lucky to be getting a new a900ltd.

I 'm thinking of getting either the A900 or A950LTD. Still not sure whats the difference in sound. Anyway, can someone tell me what's the fitz mod? Is it like the blu-tak mod for the k81dj?

Depends who you ask. Many, who A/B two, claim that difference is negligible.

Damn, they are out of stock, recredited my card and cleared it all up. Good service, it just sucks, it had my hopes up.

Does anyone want to sell me some of their 900LTD's?!?

what would be a good substitute? from around the same price (is there anything out there that has roughly the same sound, isolation, comfort ... ect.)?

Back on my search again
