Which specific headphone is that warning sign from? Because I am sure that this warning is on a lot of headphones from the same brand, and that it should apply to all closed isolating headphones or earphones (especially ones that do not offer a situational awareness mode), not just those.

Oh... That was a model that came out just when portable CD players started to become popular, back around 1987. The Boodo Khan headphones and amp have been long out of production. It was Sony's solution to the chronically gutless headphone outs in portable music players of the day, and that the typical bundled-with headphones of the day were relatively low in efficiency.
