I bought this baby some time ago and while its ALSA drivers do fine when I play music with Amarok and ALSA, any other software is barely coping without the machine halting.
For example in Audacity the play event halts the machine. Checking Audio tab in winecfg halts the machine. Nothing reads in the logs. Distro's Gentoo 2006.1.
Googling gets me nothing really. ESI's support forums are pretty useless.
If there's anything you might know, please share it.
