as was evident from my poll earlier. I did not expect to get this thing that fast. Ordered on Tuesday, received by Friday, and this thing is even slightly altered, thanks Ray!

Altered? Increased the high gain mode to 8x, since my player is Trekstor Vibez, with a mere 7 mw output. My Edition 9s are unfortunately still out being modded by [AK]zip (cable alteration so I don't have to carry all the 8 feet of it, plus changing the plug to work with the Toma). For now - stuck in my Prolines, and this kicks some ass! That lovely RSA punch and treble energy, without becoming bright, and excellent crispness to every single touch on the notes! Can't wait for E9s to be back...

Ya...I think I owe some pics, as soon as my housemate is back so I can grab his camera for the job. Oh, and this thing is RED. It's small, hot, and loves to stand out.

As i got mine today as well, ill jump on this thread

I have a Hornet, and always thought how small it is. But after receiving the Tommie today, the Hornet suddenly seems to be quite big

And man, the bass this tiny little thing produces is nothing but short of amazing! (for those burn-in-believers: already "burned in", since it's used

)

I'm using iMod with E500's exclusively and also play it connected to my car stereo. Should I have Ray adjust the gain settings to accomodate the IEM's?

No. Low gain is fine for E500s, though some do prefer using high gain.

Ya as said, the low gain is for IEMs, its 1. The high gain is 4. I had mine upped to 8 for high gain because of a particular situation with my player. Normally 4 should accommodate bigger phones just fine.
