the silver one here is not what it is going to look like so its a clarification- the metal will be smooth black aluminum and leather with be all black too not red as in this picture

I had an excellent session this morning with the XTC 2.5 and the Woo Audio tube mini. The synergy is awesome, incredible spaciousness, and the little WOO drives the hell out of them.

NW-WM1Z M2...when you plug in a USB it is straight sound, none of the Sony DSP tricks or EQ function, only volume and play controls.

Sounds very very good.
The look is fantastic. I will post some pics soon (if you want.... ).

Which pads do you use with your XTC 2^5?

I changed this morning to the angled leather pads with inside perforation.
It´s a bit a pain in the ass but i make it....
This is better going on the ZMFs......
Let´s see how it will sound. with these.....

I used the new square extra thick pads. Really brings out a tighter bass and even more detail.
