I think the title is pretty self explanatory. I've been sitting in my office since 6 AM and, save for a few trips to the refrigerator, haven't really moved from my desk. It's gotten to the point that I'm reading Plant Services magazine. Help me!

I'm an electrical engineer at a steel plant. I'm also being groomed to take over as the area manager of the department I work for (Electric, Air, and Water) so I'm at work before 6 (usually closer to 5:30).

Get those plastic glasses that have eyes drawn on them, then take a nap.

The thing is, I don't even need those. I could just curl up for a nap on my desk right now and no one would notice. Hell, if it weren't for the fact that my car is parked where everyone can see it I could leave and no one would know I was gone.

A few things that keep me busy during downtime, or boring times:

digg.com

Sony PSP with custom firmware and a handful of memory cards loaded with "Homebrew" software, games and Movies.

Also, if you don't have "Stumbleupon" installed on your Firefox browser (you DO have Firefox, right?), then you need to get it ASAP.

Stumbleupon has managed to keep me busy at times for many, many hours.

Finally, you could always submit an entry in the "Destroy My iBuds contest" I am currently throwing and take a chance at winning some cool loot. I would imagine that being an Electrical Engineer at a steel plant would allow you to come up with some pretty diabolic, clever and entertaining ways to destroy a pair of iBuds. Time to put all of those years of Electrical Engineering studies to good, practical use!

StumbleUpon is the greatest invention in the history of the internet! Seriously. I just blew an hour and didn't even realize it.

And I will have to devise a horrific and sinister fate for your iBuds. It's not like I have anything else planned for the day.

I do what I can. It's not like I have a life or anything. My day consists of:

1. Go to work
2. Go to the gym
3. Go home

At some point I'm going to have to make some friends here in Pennsylvania. And if that doesn't work, I'll just beat people up and force them to be my friends.
