Quick question,

I have narrowed my IEM choices down to the JH13v2 and the Angie. With my JH Crew discount, I can get the 13’s for $950 or the Angies for $1100.

I plan to listen straight from my iPhone and iPad to Apple Music. My musical preferences are Classical and Rock. For $150 more, are the Angies worth it with my source / basic setup? I’m coming from the JH5s (much too muddy for my taste) and the DT-770 32ohm (fabulous, but I travel often and they’re big!).

Thanks!

for rock and probably classical even, id recommend the jh13v2. They are a bit more forward and impactful, where the angies are laid back and softer. Also I think the jh13v2 has more air and space throughout the frequency response. The angie is going to be a bit less fatiguing but possibly not quite as engaging as the jh13v2. YMMV, but I like the jh13v2 more than the Roxanne performance series, angie, jh13fp.

Don’t get too caught up in driver count a 3 driver 3 way can sound just as good or better then an 8+, just depends on your preference and the tuning

If you like warm and thicker- Angie
If you like a little more neutral bit still has some punch and energy jh13v2
