I can get a nice fit with them but after about 20 min they hurt. Once I get them reshelled I'll be able to tell better.

My fit issues have subsided. I am confident that the issue was with the aftermarket cable I was using (those of you following my fit issues know I have had at least 5 re-fits, so I pretty much tried to get the best impressions/fits). Immediately after switching to the stock cables, the fit is much better. I have a feeling that JH technicians fit the IEM based on how it will sit in the ear with the stock cable, not aftermarket cables which may have different pressure points at the side/top of the IEM when the memory wire is adjusted. Just a theory.
 
I am once again in JH16 heaven. Man, I love these CIEMs.

Just received my JH16Pro...
Is there anybody out there who feels JH16 sounds bright in comparison to Hifiman HE-400 ? I know probably it's a little unfair to compare CIEMs vs. full size headphone. Also the bass on Hifiman can be "felt" which not the case on JH16. I am not a bass head in any way btw ....

I found mine a little bright at first, but they settled after a few weeks. They are balanced now. I really don't find them bass heavy at all and I have the 3A with mine.

It's about three weeks from receipt of payment. My cord does not tangle easily.

four to six weeks.
 
9/11 processing put them at 10/9 to be finished by, add another week to that. so in your hands by 10/16. I assume that they already had the molds etc come 9/11?
