Yes  it does have USB input but only 16/48kHz I believe.  At least that was the original specs.

Typically things like the Hiface are able to sample up to 24-bit/192kHz and are quite good at clocking the USB data (in fact I've always had the believe that these devices are indeed better than just straight through USB ONLY because they come with custom drivers that are able to sample at rates much higher than the standard class drivers with your platform of choice).

But of course this is HeadFi, so you may have HeadFi ears and be able to hear the loss of 2 or 3 bits every millionth sample as some have claimed....  [IMG]

I still hope Jh will post some final specification. They have final version and I want to know what I will get(I hope I get mine before Christmas).

NO I think its for both (different endpoints on the USB bus).  I am pretty sure folks at Canjam testified that Jerry wanted basic USB input support.

From the guys I had talked w/ who were @ canjam they had stated it was for programming only (I keep getting conflicting info), however for everyone else, below are additional comments from folks that talked w/ Jerry @ CANJAM that support that USB audio will be in there.

Trogdor - deleted my comment above to avoid spread misinformation (apologies man)- if you have more info from Jerry that the mini-usb audio actually did make it, that would be much appreciated. Haven't really heard any new info from Jerry since the programming mishap other than the recent update on availability. I'm pulling for this thing to have as many features just like anyone else - Will reserve further comments until released

Sorry guys, really didn't mean to stir this up - if Jerry said it's going to be on there I'm sure it made it... will be out pretty soon so we'll know for sure

Thanks, Triple 7!   Actually I head back from Zac and the answer is...to four places of decimals.....note even so the "roughly"!!!!

    The dimensions are roughly 4.7755 (L) x 3.1743 (W) x 1.1736 (H)

I was trying to get an estimate of how "high" a stack of a 7th G. iPod + Solo + JH-3A might be and from my calculations and measurement about 2.65 inches or 6.75cms.  The JH-3A is the longest and widest of the three.  So, quite a stack of stuff.  I was thinking about looking for some sort of bag and I think a Crumpler "the bundle" (m) might do the trick....just.

no way the height is 1.17inches.... that still measures less than my wallet/phone/ipod (with the ipod touch) and I still have room to wiggle my whole hand even make a fist in my pocket..... but still I might reconsider and ask for a refund and just buy a jh16.... because 1.17 is redic.

a iphone3g with an otterbox measures in around...  .6 inches.

Not hard for me to believe.  The QA350 is about the same height (1").
