The connectors where such a bust for JH......I sold my angies because I got so sick of the cables and I mean multiple cables cutting out...I wish they just stuck with the pin connector....I won't buy another JH product until the connector is changed

The metal jacket universal Angie cable connections are very secure. I have no complaints with them.

I'll also comment the Angie II connectors are very robust, no fear of them becoming problematic.

So there we are.  Angie v.2 cables are "good."

So far, so good

My only issue with v2 cables is they come unscrewed easily...
Agreed, they do seem to come unscrewed much too easily... :frowning2:
From what I've gathered, ditto for v1 but even more problematic as the cap is plastic and can crack if screwed too tigbt...

My only issue with v2 cables is they come unscrewed easily. I'm thinking of putting some plumbers tape or maybe an oring to tighten and keep it tighter.

Never had mine come unscrewed in normal use.

Mine have never come unscrewed, they lock down pretty tight.

My blk dragons come unscrewed from my customs, v1 uni never did this but did cut out - which seems to be the cable at fault. I think the metal socket and metal collar lack some friction. Will put some plumbers tape on, only a very small amount. Jh replaced my original uni cable no questions asked, just sent one out.
