To bid on this thing must be a huge leap of faith. The seller has zero feedback and found it in the goodness of their heart to ship for free. I think this is a great example of some people just having way too much money. Currentley over $2 million with 5 days left....amazing. Here is a link if you want to check it out http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300118505516

Nobody has placed any bids yet, and probably won't as I don't think anybody is stupid enough to bid on a multi-million dollar auction where the seller has 0 feedback and whose account was created solely to sell this one item.

I really doubt this will sell. There has been some crazy stuff sold on Ebay for high prices, but $2+ million for a shirt that may or may not be authentic? Doubt it. :/

That's odd considering that California tax is 8.25%. At any rate, 7.75% is an extra $166,625.

well if you can afford 2 mil, $166K probably seems like chump change.

Price does seem insane....especially since there's no sure authenticity that this is the shirt that JFK wore. But the auctioneer seems to have some credentials:

%10 is going to charity.....they're so generous. Now who's going to pay that FOR A SHIRT!!!!!!?????????????????????

I've seen this advertised on the front page for the past few days while checking another auction. I would bet that with the publicity this one is getting that it would be legit. It would be hard to pull off a scam with that many people watching. Still, that is a huge price for this, even if it is a collectors item, that is a lot of money.

Insane price for a shirt! Even if its authentic, and was worn by John F. Kennedy.
I would be surprised if someone actually place a bid.

When I read the thread, I thought it was going to be a JFK Airport employee shirt. =T

Yes, but you better get it dry cleaned before that.
