$1800 for what seems like a full track day with one. Seems like a lot of fun! The price is actually pretty fair... at our local track, a day of 1 on 1 race instruction for a bike would cost you around $600, track day would cost around $150, and thats not including a rental!

sometimes i wonder what some particularly loaded headfiers do for a living... wmcmanus and sleestack in particular. i'd give a kidney just to touch an atom.

Sleestack's family owns a bunch of rather nice hotels in California, one of which will play host to this year's HeadFest (the second annual International Head-Fi Meet) on April 21 and 22 at San Jose, CA... links to which can be found all over this website.

Me, I just spend all of my money on headphones, and now the Atom, but don't have a pot to p!ss in otherwise.

In any case, I'm going to close this thread simply because I don't want it to be about me. If the OP wants to reopen another thread about the AAE (Ariel Atom Experience), that's fine. It looks like a pretty decent value and I can't be 100% sure, but I'm thinking that for those who end up buying an Atom all or part of the cost of the AAE track day can be applied to the purchase price of the car. The fee at the 2 locations in Canada is CAD 1,750 (or about USD 1,500) which is an even better deal.
