Looking to either purchase JBL LSR305 or ELAC Debut B6. Which one would be better with for my needs? It will be connected to my iMac and HDTV. What would I need to connect it to my iMac and HDTV? DAC, Cables and etc?

It appears the JBLs are powered whereas the ELACs are passive.
You will need an amp/receiver for the ELACs.

Ive not heard the JBLs,but the ELACs are nice sounding, warm with non-sibilant highs.

Everyone seems to like the Schiit Modi multibit (Mimby)
you might want to do some research on it as to compatability as I do not use Apple products.
