Hi guys,
Since there aren't really many reviews up for the d7000 yet, I'm in the process of translating the d7000 reviews from amazon.jp. I haven't really given back to the head-fi for all the recommendations and help the community has given me yet so I felt that I finally should. I've been studying Japanese at the university level for only three years so my translations are by no means perfect. Feel free to help me out!

First Review:
alicia=y from amazon.jp says that she feels that the d7000 lives up to the d5000s and d2000s. She says that the resolution, the explosiveness of the sound, and the monitor-like nature that characterizes the d5000 can be found at close to the same level as the d7000. Further she says that she can sense the faithfulness to the information in the recordings that the MDR-CD900S is known for. This is not all she says, the d7000s smashes other headhpones in terms of the pleasant reverbation of the headphones as the music disappears. Further, she feels that the d7000 images the minute details of the music in such a way that is the composer or the performer's intention. Wearing the headphones, one feels that he is at a live jazz bar in contrast to the previous d5000 and d2000 which she felt was more concert like. Although the sound for the d7000 is not as expansive as the previous headphones, you can still clearly separate out and hear the singing of the instruments. She feels the closesness of the instruments doesn't feel like the d2000/d5000 but rather the d1000s. She says that this is by no means a contrived sound--that rather it feels natural, comfortable, and lifelike. Also, the bass is tighter and sharper in contrast to the plump low end of the d5000s...
I'll continue translating it more sometime later but the conclusion says:
Although the price of the d7000 definitely puts it in the expensive group, she feels that the cost is well worth it and definitely recommends purchasing it.
