I think the pictures speak for themselves...

My headphone collection when I went to bed Thursday night:

Sennheiser HD580 w/ 600 grills, 650 headband and Oelbach cable, Shure E2c & Sennheiser HD535 (not shown)

My additions as of Saturday afternoon, after a couple of FedEx deliveries:

Grado SR325i, Sennheiser HD650 & Shure E4c

Thankfully, I think I've put myself in a position where I have decent variety and won't be looking to upgrade... at least for a while!

very nice, very similar to my setup.

however...those are either regular 325's or ms2i's.
325i's are gold.

No, I assure you they're gold. The stupid flash just made the pic washed out.

That is a truely gargantuan leap forward you have made in headphone stuffs!
eek.gif
But your wallet has made an equally gargantuan leap backwards in money stuffs, unless they all were bought & payed for as broken.

Well, I took a truely gargantual leap professionally, and improved my situation and my compensation. The joys of being 28 and self-employed. It was a roll of the dice as I usually stay where I'm comfortable. But it's paying off, so this was kind of my congratulatory gift to myself. No additional debt was taken on with these purchases, plus the E2c's (definitely) and HD580's (unless the HD650's are disappointing) will be leaving, which helps offset some of the coin.

Congradulations. It is always inspiring to meet a self emplyed buisness man who is doing well at a young age. Especially if he has goten that way by being uncharacteristicly daring in his buisness ventures. Bravo on getting yourself in a position where you can buy this stuff. I to hope to own every awsome headphone in the world like you now do!

A truely gratfied person you must be and a just reward you CLEARLY have gotten! Just curious, what kind of buisness did you create for yourself?

Thanks! I'm very happy with my decision.

I'm a professional structural engineer, so I'm doing consulting. I'm doing a lot of work with another engineer... helping him out as he's swamped, and have a couple of other things going on as well. So far, so good!

Then it's time for.... Digital Camera Upgrade Time! which is almost as much fun as headphone upgrade time!

The pic isn't washed out, it's just too blue. Lots of P&S digicams react to daylight and flash with an excess of blue and cyan, which wipes out yellow and red, respectively.
