I am interested. What concerns me is that

I would probably find a way to put the top back on. :)

Sentence
Cont..

The lme49720 in the dx7 are buffers, ad8397 drives the headphone, so I am not sure that the op amp change for buffers would help much.

I will contact burson and topping about using the vivid v6 in this position.

I'll 3d print a housing that has least 4 or maybe 6 countersunk screws into the dx 7 pro top plate.

I will be using this Nifty, and Lightweight, Big 100 Wh 120VAC battery inverter to use the fully balanced, blutooth Dac+Amp-DX7 Pro to HD 800 portably for 7 to 14 hours. Should weigh about 4.5lb al together.

-Depends on the dx 7 Pro DAC power consumption! I am anticipating close to 8 or 10 watt

Burson Ee has sent me an email and we'll talk about the v6 used in the buffer for the amplifying op amp. The AD8397

The v5i are also significantly cheaper than the v6, so I may go with those so that I don't have to mill the DX7 Pro panel

Look forward to hearing about your findings and experience. (932) Sparkos Labs SS3601 Op-Amp Review - YouTube this may be also of interest if u're op amp rolling.

Will also consider replacing, if potentially doable the ad8397 driving op amp, though unlikely until I talk with Andrew Sparks.

I love the sparkOS vibe... and will still consider the burson v6 or v5i. I want details but have not finished looking at the SparkOS lab yet. Coffee and breakfast first.

Thanks!

I do like that the SparkOS is even friendlier than others and that these products are made in the US and run by US business owners. I also admire Mr. Sparks and his counterpart for personally answering all inquiries personally. The Burson team for example is also small, and I did get a response from Alex as well as Carlos.
