Heya all,
 
Been using my new Nexus 5 that has the new version of Android, 4.4, and the site works very smoothly, but the two menu buttons at the top of the site that summon the side bar menus aren't working with the version of Chrome that comes installed stock with 4.4. I haven't used any other device with 4.4, and it runs fine on my Nexi 4 and 7 running 4.3 with Chrome, but not the 5 with 4.4. 4.4 will be on all of the new Androids due to be released in the spring, including the Galaxy S5, so I assume it's something that should be addressed.

Actually, Gilly87, would you be able to post a couple of screencaps of the issue I can include in the ticket I'm filing?  It would be appreciated, so the tech team can see exactly what you're seeing, especially if they don't have their hands on that device yet.

Gilly87, I've got the ticket filed, but one of the tech team says they have the same phone and OS, and stock Chrome is showing things as normal.  I'll pass along the screenshots once I get them to show them the issue.

Interesting...would you be willing to ask him/her which version of the software, baseband, kernel, and/or build number he/she has?

@Gilly87 - Here's the specs they're using:
 

  Chrome: 31.0.1650.59
Operating System: Android 4.4.0; Nexus 5 Build/KRT16M
Baseband: M8974A-1.0.25.0.17
Kernel: 3.4.0-g9eb14ba

 
Can you try clearing your RAM and shut down any background applications, then try again?  The reason is that typically, if the blue background doesn't disappear immediately, the phone is struggling with background apps and may not register the correct sequence of "touch start" -> "touch end" -> "click" events needed to open the sidecars.

It does disappear like normal, that part is fine, but the menu doesn't appear; those are shots of the moment I press the button. Took a few tries to get the timing right
