Yes, definitely. It is highly recommended. Are you planning to review the H40?
The H40 has more punchy bass, thicker lower midrange, less forward upper midrange, more extended treble. The H40 has bigger stage. It really depends on personal preference. Both are very competent IEMs. Cheers!
So far, I think I like the H40 a little bit better. They're really, really close though. What I hear as improvements are slightly larger soundstage, and vocals which have some more heft to them. The H40 is right at the same level of detail, but the OH10 has a tad more sparkle, so the highs shimmer just that slight bit better. Lows are very similar, but the H40 has a mild uptick in mid-bass by comparison, the OH10's is cleaner and shifted more sub-bass. So overall this gives the H40 a richer and more enveloping sound, with punchier lows. I did swap out the cable to a **** 4.4mm balanced which I think helped the soundstage somewhat. I've also been having good luck with my good ol' standby tips, the old style UE900 dark grey silicones. These two are definitely my current favorite IEMs.
Seems like these comparisons between the ikko OH10 and ISN H40 are on the same page except for maybe a difference in perceived treble? Perhaps it comes down to the tips being used.

Both IEMs are solid and it is good to have both. Cheers!

Wallet isnt good to have both. But probably i will take 2 of 3 between LZ A6, H40 and OH10, or maybe 1 of 3. Still unsure but H40 looks very promising.
Btw what is your most favorite IEM up to $300 and up to $500? Is H40 there?

If you prefer more punch, get H40 but if you want more crisp, get OH10. I am not a big fan of A6 due to fit but it has a solid sound.Wallet isnt good to have both. But probably i will take 2 of 3 between LZ A6, H40 and OH10, or maybe 1 of 3. Still unsure but H40 looks very promising.

Thanks for this, make me sure im walking on right path here lol..
Btw totally forget yeah i also considering Dunu DK 2001. Since both 2001 and 3001 are on your list looks like they are really solid too.
Im waiting for my A6 mini as a "trial" to consider big A6 or just take H40 instead.
Once again thanks and happy new year!

audio123: I am waiting on your NF Audio NA1 review. The NA1 and H40 are tied for 1st place in my under $200 bracket, the NS Audio NS2 Pro sits alone in my under $300 bracket, the Jays Q-Jays and NF Audio NF3U are tied for under $500.

I don't see a user graph of these yet. Looking for a hybrid to try and these look super good.
Hoping they'll be measured by Crinacle soonish. It's much easier to compare with graphs on the same setup.

I joined the ranks of the H40 owners. Placed an order couple hours earlier. Now the waiting begins!
Oh btw, happy new year everyone

I really like my H40.
Do you think a silver cable would improve its sound ?
If yes, which one?

Is the h40 comparable to the s8f? Or is s8f in a different tier?I really like my H40.

According to my ears, h40 and s8f are quite differents, but they complete each other.
H40 are a little darker, with more rumble DD) and smoother than the s8f which are more détailled, with beautifull highs.
