HP 15.4" 3GB Memory 160GB Hard Drive Notebook Model G50-112NR

It's an HP notebook going for $350 at Office Depot. Here are the specs:

HP G50-112NR Notebook Specification
Microprocessor 2.00 GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core Mobile Processor T3200
Memory 3 GB
Hard Drive 160 GB (5400 rpm)
Display 15.4"

Fax/Modem High speed 56K modem
Network Card Integrated 10/100 Ethernet LAN
Wireless Connectivity Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g WLAN

I'm not too computer savy, is this computer one that I should jump on immediately or can I find a laptop like this any other day?

I don't know about some non-spec qualities (like the screen or the battery life) but based on the info provided, that's a pretty bomb deal for the money. If you're looking for a computer to do minor work on and you don't play any games then I would definitely pick one up.

Also I don't really know what Digger meant with his comment. Vista is Vista, like it or don't, but 3GB ram is plenty to run Vista.

spec is fine for running vista.

the difference between CD, C2D and the newer Centrino 2 CPU of the same speed is minimal under vista.
