ok so is this a good entry level audiophile headphone
and is this going to be heard by somebody if they are near you like in the grado sr60i people around you can hear the headphone since its open air is this like that or a regular headphone that can only heard by the user since i am going to be using it for airtravel at night and also at night in general
and are there any other good models for audiophiles that is like a regular headphone (only hear by the user)
and is there a difference between these two headphones

Heya,

The AGK 142HD is semi-open, people will hear you. Otherwise, it's a decent headphone.

The difference between the Audiotechnica A700 and AD700 is simply open-back versus closed back. The AD700 is open, so everyone will hear you. The A700 is closed. They are otherwise the same headphone.

Note that even closed back headphones will end up leaking sound and people within 5 feet will hear you likely. You would need sound isolation or IEM's to really go silent during airtravel.

Very best,
