Is there anything similar to the VMODA Crossfade lp2 in the same price range or cheaper?

I bought a pair at guitar center last week and while I was trying them out they felt comfortable. The sound was good as well but after using them for extended periods of time they start to feel like vicegrips. I love almost everything about these headphones but they just hurt. Is there a more comfortable option?

I also here a lot of good things about the m-80s, does anyone know if they have the same problems with comfort?

The 80's are reasonably comfortable but they're on-ears, not over ears like the LP2's. They also have a LOT less bass than the LP2's. From experience the LP2's do get more comfortable in time, but if you can't wait you can get softer pads for $15: http://v-moda.com/m-100-lp-lp2-memory-cushions/

Thanks for the suggestion i'll look into it but does it really reduce the clamp?
