is there a medical problem that prevents a person from looking at camera when taking

Are you talking about self-portraits? I've never heard of anyone having a specific medical reason why they couldn't take a picture of themselves. Unless if you really hate the way you look

I know some people are sensitive to the flash. This can cause either temporary blindness or even shock.

many people look better when they dont look straight into the camera. most people, a vast majority. the obvious exceptions are clare danes and milla jovanovich, because they are both perfect. i cant even say that with great certanty, because i have never seen a picture of them looking straight into the camera. it would probably change my opinion of them if i did.

just my opinions.

Well the Sioux Nation is 3 tribes and not 1, but anyway..

There are other cultures that none too appreciate it, like for instance, the Amish.

After years of being taught Native American history in grade school and despite living in Oklahoma, I still got that one wrong. Oh well...
