Is there a list of portable DAC/amps?

The Headroom MicroDAC is another option.

Problem is, its that its very costly.

Only the Headroom MicroDAC and iBasso D1 are useable from an optical source.

The others require you to have a device capable of USB output control in order to utilize them (e.g a portable UMPC),
