I don't know specifically about London, however in the US many larger stores which sell musical instruments also sell high quality headphones. I suggest that you call stores which sell musical instruments and ask them which headphones they sell.

Not sure what high end models they have, but you could take the train to HiFiHeadphones: http://www.hifiheadphones.co.uk/. Perhaps SteveHiFi who works there can join in and tell you what models they have :)

Hey thanks!

We have the LCD range, the HD800 (the Oppo PM-1 is very good too) but don't currently have plans for the Stax or HE-1000 models though.

Hey there. It's a little drive outside London (assuming you mean London UK and not London Ohio!), in Bedfordshire, but I can personally recommend Highend Headphones - recently bought my McIntosh MHP1000s from there - after demoing all the cans you mentioned by the way

Huge range of top models; there's not many TOTL headphones Paul and Wendy don't have on demo and you can't get a more relaxed environment in which to try them in. They're a genuinely nice couple too - not pushy like most of the central London dealers - they're happy to set you up and leave you to your own devices for hours. I know for a fact they have all of the Audeze LCD range (as well as EL-8s), the HD800, STAX SR-007 and SR-009. Also the Abyss, set up on a Bryston stack. Last time I spoke to him, Paul had the HE1K on order so it might well be there by now.

Hey guys,

yes I mean London UK.

The Highend Headphones store in Bedfordshire is what I am looking for since they have almost all the top headphones you can find on the market.
However, a similar store but in London would be more convenient.

Thanks again!

You won't find anything quite like Hi-Fi Lounge/Highend Headphones in central London - trust me, I've been all round this town on the same mission  If you're willing to go to a few different places though, there are some in London (not all that central) that have what you're looking for:

KJ West One near Bond Street have the complete Audeze range, Audio Venue in Ealing has the Audezes and also the Senn HD800. Custom Cable in New Malden may have the STAX (they sell them, but not sure they have them on demo). I'm not aware of any HiFiMan stockists at all in town - only Highend Headphones carry those. Adair Acoustic in Clerkenwell used to, but that's shut up shop.
