Is there a DAC guide somewhere?

It seems to me that some of the members here know from the top of their head what DAC chip is used for what devices (either that, or they look it up everytime). But is there a guide anywhere that would state and briefly describe the DACs included in popular devices (e.g. popular sound cards, popular external DACs, and popular DAPs and things that I have no even considered)?

I think it would be useful for beginners like myself to have some kind of quick reference.
